The Clayton
Henry Clay Frick was one of the top executives in Andrew Carnegie's steel mills. He took every opportunity to crush labor unions.
Henry Clay Frick founded the H. C. Frick & Company, a coke manufacturing company. Coke in this context means the process of heating coal (the clumps of coal still attached to ore and clay dirt, so low grade coal that would be thrown out) in large beehive ovens out in fields to make "coke". This type of "coke" produced a long burning energy source used in steel mills. In Fayette County and Washington County, PA, there would be a line of 10-20 beehive ovens loaded and stoked 24-hours a day, every day, for nearby steel mills..Henry Clay Frick was also involved with Carnegie Steel, and was key to establishing U.S. Steel Corp., the biggest steel mill manufacturer in the U.S..

Do you mean Henry Clay Tollett? If so he was a bank robber.
Henry Clay Frick was one of the top executives in Andrew Carnegie's steel mills. He took every opportunity to crush labor unions.
Frick was the chairman of Carnegie's steel company. Throughout his life, Frick was known to be a ruthless, cutthroat business man who would not negotiate with unions, who strove to maximize profits at the expense of his workers. In a sense he was a robber baron. During a strike at one of the companies largest steel plants, Frick brought in a team of mercenaries and killed nine workers. For these reasons, Frick was known as America's most hated man at the time, and was even attempted in assassination by the anarchists at one time after the strike.
