364 horses, 90 stags. Also cattle, aurochs, bison, seven cats, a bird, a bear, a rhinoceros, and a human. Oddly, no reindeer, which were the principal source of meat for the people who did the paintings.

The aim of much Renaissance art was to show the importance of people and nature, not just religion. The figures were lifelike, and looked 3-Dimensional, reflecting increasing knowledge of anatomy. Paintings could be religious and non-religious. Bodies were active and were shown moving. Scenes showed real people, doing real, everyday tasks. The faces expressed the persons current thinking, or feelings. Colors were shown responding to lighting. And Paintings were often symmetrical. (All of this was found in a textbook.)
