The Great Bell in the clock tower of the palace of Westminster, commonly known as Big Ben, is just over 7ft tall. The Statue of Liberty is 305ft tall, including the pedestal. So Big Ben is much, much smaller.
The clock tower of the palace of Westminster, on the other hand, is 315.9ft high, so it is taller than the Statue of Liberty.
Oh, yes, absolutley. Big Ben is a large clock that sits in london, wheras Ben Nevis is the biggest MOUNTAIN in all of Britain.
151ft, 1 inch tall to the head of the statue, but too the torch it is 305ft 1 inch tall.Weight of copper used in statue: 100 tonsWeight of steel used in statue: 125 tonsTotal weight used in statue: 225 tons
Yes there is a clock bigger than the big ben.The mecca clock in saudi arabia.Big ben is only 96.3 metres (316 feet) and the mecca clock is 577 metres. However the mecca clock is not as wide in breadth.
The Statue of Liberty was built in France 1882, was transported to America on October 28, 1886 and was then pronounced the Statue of Liberty. France and America both worked on the Statue of Liberty. France was building the actual statue and America was working on the foundation for the statue. Both had trouble financing their efforts so the statue was actually about 10 years late from the time the visionaries wanted to dedicate the statue. Anyhow, the statue was completed in July of 1884 in France but the foundation for her wasn't completed until 1886 in America. On October 28, 1886 the dedication of the statue took place after she had been transported from France to the US in crates and then reassembled.
Hard to say, but think bigger than a Roman Chariot....if you go to London there is a statue on the embankment of her and the chariot
WEll, there is the Empire State Building (but that's not really a STATUE) so a big statue in New York would definitely have to be the famous Statue Of Liberty!! lildancer99<33
The names of the worldies are Rocky an easter island head, Liberty a statue of liberty, MIni ben a miniature version of big ben, and Cleo a pyramid! hope this helps!

The Eiffel tower is taller than the statue of Liberty. It is three and a half times as big as Liberty, pedestal included, or six times as big as the statue itself. The Eiffel tower is 1,063 ft (324 m) tall, whereas the statue is 305 ft or 93 m (pedestal included) or 151 ft (46 meters) for the statue proper (still huge for a statue).A common point is that Gustave Eiffel designed and built the Statue of Liberty's internal frame.
I think Big Ben is bigger.

They will be compared because they both are big and they both are statues ?
