King Tut was only 9 when he began his reign. He was heir to the throne as his father died when he was 5 and his brother had already died.

He began his reign in 1333 BC and he died suddenly at the age of 18 in 1323 BC due to gangrene in the leg. He was the youngest recorded Pharaoh.
