Master Sergeant in the U S Air Force receive around $2339 to $4821 a month. (depending on the number of years active duty and if he/she is in the Air National Guard or Air Force Reserve).
For the US Army, sergeant major basic pay currently is based on longevity...the length of time they have served. Using 26 years of service as an example, a sergeant major in 2010 made $6130. Counter that with what the first Sergeant Major of the Army made when he was selected to that position with 26 years, $657.30.
not much, they were the lowest priority on any quarter-master's list

A retired gunnery sergeant makes around 2,000 dollars every month. This is just the base pay not including disabilities.

Master Sergeant is a rank often found on staff NCOs in the Army... the Air Force also has the rank of Master Sergeant, but the Air Force doesn't have the brigade structure. They'll basically be in an administrative role of some sort. That's not just at Ft. Carson, but pretty much throughout the whole of the Army.
That will depend on how long he has been in the military and the rank structure in that armed force. In the US, a new sergeant would make about $2000 a month.
Depends on the State. California has the highest paying Department.
One master plumber with decent skills can easily make over $275,000.
its actually MAC. Magnetic Accelorator Cannon. They are mounted on UNSC space ships and much too large for the chief to carry.
