Well, how far soldiers marched is largely determined by how long they were in service and what unit they served with. If the soldier guarded a convoy unit he would be in the back of the truck so he wouldn't walk that much. However if the soldier belonged to a mobile unit then he could walk anywhere from 1500 miles to 2500 miles that is of course assuming that he is in service for longer than 6 months.
so far 4,365 soldiers have been killed in the Iraq war
No, as far as putting troops on the ground, however they where part of NATO
The amount of Axis Soldiers Canadian Soldiers killed in World War 1 was far greater then the Canadian deaths. The difference ( or ratio) for Canadian Soldiers was 8 - 1. For every Canadian soldiers death there were 8 more Axis kills. The 8-1 difference was the highest in World War 1.
The US involvement in the Vietnam War was to rule out and hopefully stop comunism from spreading in a dominoe effect. Which were the plans of the North Vietnames, to further spread communism to South Vietnam.
It would depend on which countries army you are referring to. In the case of the US Army then it is possibly the Vietnam War.
Yes because it was lost
he was with soldiers in japan and it was his birthday and he was far from home and they wanted to wish him a happy birthday
There was no "Vietnam" during the Vietnam War. Communist NORTH Vietnam was attacking non-communist SOUTH Vietnam, and the US was trying to drive the communists out of South Vietnam...trying to stop communist aggression. It's called the Vietnam War because it's a lot easier to say, and less confusing...than to say "South Vietnam War" or "North Vietnam War", so some people go so far as to say the war in Southeast Asia instead.
there was gas war far like mustard gas and it was a bad war.
