its actually quite easy, I Set up one in our local Park, I asked the council for permission and extra funding telling them what good could come out of it.
They Hired the Staging for me and then i got to work on booking the Acts. I had a lot of local bands on the line up but i managed to get Friendly Fires and Tom Yorke from Radiohead to headline it was a great day out for everybody. Make sure the local authorities know and assure them that it will be safe maybe have a few PCSO's on the scene to reassure everybody. good luck with yours :)
