depends on the lee enfield but to take down my lee enflield, first i take the butt plate off, then with a long flat head screwdriver i take out the rear scew holding but butt end of the stock off. then i take the cross screw off the floor plate, and remove the screw holding the floorplate and fore arm to the receiver and then the stock is off
