Jesus' death and resurrection brought a change in humanity's relationship with God, one in which faith, rather than behaviour, was the central element. Thus, you did not have to be a Jew.and you did not have to follow Jewish law. The Torah was not necessary or salvation, Jesus alone was decisive. Paul was the most prolific Christian writer of the apostolic age. Fourteen of the twenty seven books of the New Testament. His authorship of seven of these of seven of these is undisputed and six are thought to have been written by his followers using his material.About half of the Acts of the Apostles and seven of the Epistles were written by him. They exerted the most powerful influence on the development of Early Christianity. His views became the predominant ones. They provide the roots of Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant theologies. The writings of many subsequent prominent theologians were developments or interpretations of his work.
