In a library catalog, a biography will almost certainly have the person's name as a subject heading, so do a subject search for the person whose biography you would like to read (usually last name first).

In some libraries the biographies will be in a separate section, arranged alphabetically by the last name of the person who is the subject.

And as always, if you can't find it, ask a librarian!
