Yes, in Japan. In American professional sports, no, a game is not complete if both teams have the same number of runs.

AnswerYes, if a game is called off due to weather, or a power outage, or something like that. If the game is important to a pennant race, it can be made up, but if not, it would be left as a tie. The stats would still count, though.

As of February 2007 the rules committee has made the following changes to the rules in the MLB as it pertains to games ending in ties.

"Beginning this season, when a game is tied in the bottom of the fifth inning and is called because of weather, it will be suspended and resumed before the next scheduled game between the teams at the same ballpark.

If there are no more games between the teams at the same stadium, the game will be resumed when the teams meet at the visitor's ballpark.

If it is the final scheduled game between the teams, it will be replayed if it is needed to determine a postseason berth."

Many times. The longest game in MLB history ended in a tie, a 26 inning game between Brooklyn and Boston in 1920. Many games played before lights were installed in stadiums ended in ties when it got too dark to continue.

Yes, Baseball games can end in a tie. After the 5th inning a baseball game is considered a complete game. If weather causes a game to end or it is getting far too late in the evening to finish, the game will end. If it is tied, they will replay the game at another time, usually added to a later game's schedule, turning that day's event into a double-header.

No it is impossible for a regular season baseball game to end in a tie. The longest game ever played was 26 innings long. No tie there.

No. A Super Bowl would always be decided by overtime procedures. Football games can never end in a tie. If by the end of the fourth quarter they are tied, then they go into overtime.
