Chamberlain met with Hitler on three different occasions. Once at Berchtesgaden, another time at Bad Godesburg and a third time at Munich.
He believed that he had a peace pact with Adolf Hitler.

Chamberlain met Hitler twice: 1. On 22 September 1938 in Bad Godesberg (now part of Bonn). 2. On 29-30 September 1938 in Munich.
The Sudetenland crisis began at the beginning of 1938 and chamberlain flew out to meet Hitler on September the 15th.
Chamberlain negotiated what he thought was a peace treaty with Hitler. It was called, "Peace in our time." Unfortunately, hitler did not respect that treaty.
