Things containing calcium and magnesium can interfere with ciprofloxacin, making it less effective. Try to avoid things like tums or maalox if you can, but if you have to take these try not to take them close to the time that you take the ciprofloxacin (for example take it 2 hours before or 6 hours after you take your maalox/tums).

As for milk, same thing, just try not to take them at the same time.

Yes, you can drink milk while taking Flucloxacillin. If the patient does not like the taste of the medicine, it can be mixed with milk or water but has to be taken on an empty stomach.
