It could be that he's got a problem he's not sharing with you, which could be about your relationship or could be something unrelated. Pushing him to tell you could make him feel worse about it if he doesn't want to. But if you let him know that you are there for him, and ready to listen if he wants to talk about it, that might help.
If you think he's having doubts about his feelings for you, which is normal and common in relationships, then avoid making him feel that you are worried about it. If he feels he has to reassure you, then it will not help any doubts that he is having. Let him know that it's ok to have doubts, and that he can talk to you about it if he likes. Feelings come and go, but if you support each other, you can keep the relationship going.
