It could be a lot of things. Search on line for pictures of rashes to compare yours to. On thing it could be is scabies. They say that it itches really bad at night and it can be over your whole body, not just the warm spots ( in between the fingers and toes, behind the knees, crease of arm).
Another view: you might be getting heat rash, by getting too hot at night. If your bedding is made of polyester, acrylic or fleece, it's actually made of plastic (polyester is a petroleum product), and could be insulating you too well. Satin sheets are generally polyester. If you have silk sheets, silk is one of the best insulators out there and you are likely slow-cooking yourself :) .
You can try to find a light cotton or wool blanket (there are some soft wool blankets out there, but they're hard to find) and see if you don't break out so badly. Wool sounds hot, but if you find a light blanket, it's actually far more breathable than the polyester or fleece blankets everyone is using nowdays, and it might keep you from feeling so hot. Also, sleep with your feet out from under the blanket if you can stand that -- it will help cool you off better too. If you're wearing polyester or nylon, or any synthetic material to bed, try cotton nightware too (or sleep in your birthday suit) so you don't overheat yourself that way as well.
you need to see a doctor.
it gets swollen and itchy

Bedbugs bites are usually in a straight line. They can be quite itchy, causing a rash-like appearance. Infection can set in if they are scratched with unclean hands.

Most bites are at first painless. However, they can turn into an itch red welts on your skin. They most commonly appear on your face, neck, arms and hands. They generally have a red spot in the center of the welt.
That sounds like hives. They can have many causes from allergies to nerves.
I have one small bite on my leg, but it is a dull brown color. What type of animal would give a bite like that, help?!
Small red bumps. Small dot in the middle. Clear sticky substance sometimes oozing from the bump. Extremely itchy.
If you are experiencing several bumps all over your legs, it could be boils; seek medical attention.
A turkey mite is another name for a young tick. The bites they leave on people are extremely itchy and look like large clusters of red, raised up dots.
A person would have random small red raised itchy bumps on his skin that would resolve in 24-48 hours; new bumps would appear on a regular basis. Every bump is a single bite, so as new bumps show up this indicates new flea bites.
