well is he committed? if a guy is truly committed he will want to meet your parents and vice versa. and i think a man is even more committed when he asks your parents for your hand. it kind of gives your parents a secure feeling their daughters in good hands with a good man he should talk with your dad and kind of get to know your dad more than your mom because havn't you noticed your dads the more "protective" one.
