The food we eat is broken down into tiny, tiny pieces, which makes them lose all connection with what they were part of before, then those pieces are used by our bodies.

It's like taking a metal statue, melting it down and then using the metal to make another statue. Doesn't mean that the next statue will be beautiful too.
