Unknown but you probably will be very injured from it and you will not be able to speak very well.
You might die of blood loss
====================================
Updated. Japanese warriors when capture by the enemy used to end their lives by biting their tongue off. It caused quick blood loss and drowning as blood was quickly filling the lungs. Being a captive for a Japanese warrior was considered a shame and since often a captive is tied up and can't run and use their hands to kill himself biting off the tongue was a "way out".

When you bite your tongue just a little there is a lot of pain, so biting it off would take much force and cause crucial and immense pain. Usually people use their tongue to get spit up to the front of their mouth, without a tongue you will not be able to spit the blood out therefore you either tilt your head down or it comes out your nose and you basically drown as it goes down your throat. The ways you could die are: bleeding out and drowning. This would also be very painful.
I assume you mean would you bleed to death if you bit your tongue off...well no, however you could most certainly die from it.
For one it would hurt like hell, you might pass out from the pain, at which time you would be at risk of choking to death on blood.
Also if left untreated the tongue stub would become infected and you could die of sepsis.
Yes if you did not have quick medical attention, you could die from blood loss or from drowning (blood going into your lungs).
If you lost your tongue, you would not be able to chew or swallow food. You also would not be able to speak very clearly.
what a odd question,
but yes I think they would die as the perosn would lose alot of blood, and would eventually die from blood loss, but I don't know for sure.
Extremely unlikely. While the tongue gets a good blood flow, it's not cupported by a major vessel. Any wound should be easily controllable.
