Absolutely. Lysol spray is the biggest myth in America. First of all the propellent spray particles are sinus and lung irritants. So spraying lysol around when people are sick will only serve to make them sicker. If you read the Lysol bottle, which few people do, even they make it clear that for the product to be effective it must be sprayed directly on surfaces. In other words, for it to work you would need to physically spray (until wet) every light switch, phone handset, faucet handle - pretty much everything people touch. A much easier, and less expensive way, and more effective way, and a way that won't irritate and prolong the sickness of those that are ill in your house is to simply wipe those surfaces with rubbing alcohol. Do yourself, and your family, a favor and chuck the Lysol spray.
