Tanning is the effect of ultraviolet radiation burning your skin. Your skin is DAMAGED when you get a tan. The body responds to this damage by producing more melanin skin pigmentation in an effort to protect the skin (this is why dark skinned people have dark skin). However for a white skinned person, the protection is only slight and later in life you will develop more wrinkles and may get skin cancer from exposure to the sun.

Yeomen in the Middle Ages often worked outdoors, which exposed them to the sun for long periods of time while tending to crops or animals. Their daily labor under the sun would naturally result in them having a sun-tanned complexion.
Don`t think so unless the sun is facing you besides you would get too hot if you got tanned.

You can keep a tanned look by using sun lotion with a high SPF. Also you can go out covered and have a little skin showing but try to limit how long you are in the sun for.
She was very tanned.
Bronzer means to get one's skin tanned (by the sun) in English.
don't you mean words... anyway it is when you are slightly tanned.
depends, are you a redhead? if so, you would die, but you would melt anyways
well this is hard, but what i would do and my mum and dad already do is to 1. buy sun cream 2. you see you are sun tanned you get out the sun cream 3. you rub it all over you and then....... 4. get an umbrella or something else that would cover you from the sun 5. walla, you have gotten rid of sun tan well done :D (this would take you about 1 or 2 hours to get the sun tan off) :-(
When our skin get exposure to sun our skin darken. And skin darkening due to sun rays is known as tanning. Tanning is cause due acceleration in melanin.
Stay out of the Sun.
