You get hungry after eating because more blood goes to your stomach and intestine to help digest your food. This causes less blood to be going to your head, giving you the feeling of being sleepy.

It's usually because you eat too much food. Your body should feel more energetic after you eat as you get a boost to your blood sugar levels among other things and your metabolism will pick up. However, if you eat too much, you'll start converting the extra calories to fat and that will make you feel tired as your body wants to focus on the fat storage and wants you to sleep so it can convert calories to fate better. Also, when you eat a lot, you often get a bunch of nutrients and not so great stuff that need to be processed by your kidneys, liver, etc. All this stuff, combined with very high blood sugar can make you feel sluggish and lethargic. Finally, if you don't have enough water in your body, that, can give you a headache or otherwise less than a great feeling.

Your blood goes to your stomach to help speed up digestion. In addition, eating itself is an action, which takes energy to carry out. Also, while you are eating, the stomach may have already started digestion, which usually makes you more tired and maybe even a little groggy.

different foods give different chemicals in the body some make you feel awake while other make you tiered. For example junk food especially make you feel heavy and tired but food like salads, fruit, or veggies make you feel awake and focused.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) can cause symptoms like that right after eating, but someone with IBS would also have a pattern of constipation and/or diarrhea every few days or so.

The first thing to do is contact your PCP's (personal care physician) office. I am not a physician, but a possibility would be a blood sugar problem. Don't self-diagnose; call your doctor.
