People value living rather than dying and being in pain. Love can make one being satisfied with the emotional state, and money can make one being satisfied with living. In reality, it's cruel but true when someone say that money makes the world go around. If you have love but no money then you are not gonna get money, but if you have money but no love most likely you'll get some love.
