β 9y agoHot or warm water will frequently do a better job is dissolving dirt- but it is not always "better". Some things are damaged by hot water, and should be washed in cold water. Colors tend to fade less in cold water.

β 9y agoFish survive better in cold water then in warm water because :- 1) Cold water has more oxygen and more oxygen means more microscopic life which means more food. 2) In Cold water there is more solubility of the carbon dioxide released by the fish
Powdered juice dissolves faster in hot water, but tastes better in cold water.
Cold water
No, hot water is a better conductor of electricity than cold water. This is because warmer water molecules have more kinetic energy, allowing for better electron movement and increased conductivity.
Cold water helps keep the DNA intact during extraction.
Solids generally dissolve better in hot water than in cold water. This is because the heat energy in hot water increases the kinetic energy of the molecules, allowing them to move more quickly and collide with the solute particles more frequently, facilitating the dissolution process.
cold is better cuz when your in the ocean is the water hot or cold cold
They like living in cold water better because it relaxes their body :) How does that help?
cold
It can, but hot water works better because it helps to dissolve grease and hardened food better than cold.
Cold water will help. Ice is better if you have it around.
Yeast is dissolved in warm water rather than cold water when making bread because the warmth helps activate the yeast cells, promoting fermentation and allowing the bread to rise. Cold water can slow down the activation process and may not be as effective in producing the desired outcome in bread-making.
