The normal life of an average teen involves interactions to their social life beyond their family, that is their peers/friends. The term friends generally speaking is a person who shares common interest and at a similar age. Most times, teens spend time with friends because the subject they're talking isn't that comforting when it is shared with people with different interests eg. mum, teachers..etc. editor of 'family beyond' association
teenager want to be with their peers than to their family because teenagers feel more comfortable when they are with their peers. they can say whatever they want to say when they are with their peers. we teenager hate if our parents are very strict to us. we want to be with our peers because we feel very happy, we forget all our problems.

Well, teenagers are not all the same. They do have common traits though, such as, them wanting to spend time with there friends more than family. They always want something, they are definitely mean at times but despite their bad attitudes and problems, they really do care about their family members and their friends. They are moody and unsocial at times.
