Is Indian Board of Alternative Medicines accredited?

I asked UGC which is the main Accreditation Body in India, about Indian Board of Alternative Medicines and they didn't answer me at all, but they also didn't put IBAM as an unaccredited institution. The standard procedures made by UGC is to open a case against College and then Court is deciding about when to give or not accreditation. IBAM had won the case. I asked Irish Institute of Medical Herbalist what they think about IBAM's degrees and the said me that they are valid, but because of different standards in education maybe some exams will be necessary to became a MIIMH (member of IIMH). So according to every data I have IBAM is fully accredited.

Is it true or false that over the counter and prescription medicines do not contribute to society's drug problems?

False. There are people who overuse OTC (Over the counter) as well as prescription medicines, People become dependent on laxatives, antihistamines (for sleep), cold medicines, and pain killers. People convince doctors they need prescriptions by describing symptoms and claiming OTC medicines don't help. Just taking some extra cough medicines and Tylenol (acetaminophen) doses can lead to an acetaminophen overdose that can lead to kidney damage or failure, and death.
