You get fat when you eat too much because if you eat too much, you are ingesting more fat and calories than you exercise. Because your exercise doesn't use all of the energy stored in the fat and calories that you ingest when you eat too much, it just sits around in the body. This eventually will lead to a person becoming 'fat' because they eat too much.

∙ 14y agoThe feeling of being full has a lot to do with the sensation of your stomach expanding to accomodate the food being put into it. When the stomach is empty it is around the size of your fist. Eating food will make the stomach larger and, therefore, make if feel "full."

∙ 13y agoThis could be happening for a few reasons. It could be that the food you are eating doesn't have enough nutrients in it that the body needs. It could also be hyper thyroidism. This is when certain hormones are made by the thyroid and prevent the creation of any kind of fats. Food literally enters the stomach, is rapidly digested and turned into energy. This is an unhealthy disorder, and can be caused by a nodule on the thyroid, or thyroid cancer. On rare occasion it can be brought on by puberty as well.
