The Beatles took place in the mid 6o's to the early 7o's. During that time period people had some rough times. (w/ the war and stuff like that) The way to make up for that was the new "thing". Drugs. It had some kind of high that made you Kind of "happy". I was just psychedelic times. And, apparently, you can write #1 hit songs during that "crazy stance" LOL! ~Halie K.
