your eyes absorb the light that it was just in and allow you to see even if there is only a little bit of light peeking in you would be able to see though just after the lights go out it may take a few seconds to let your eyes adjust to the change of lighting

∙ 12y agoI think dark since they hate the light. . . :) plus they are used to it. They also see the world as a mosaic
Cats have a layer called the tapetum lucidum behind their retina that reflects light back through the retina, enhancing their night vision. Humans do not have this layer, so cats can see better in low light conditions. Additionally, cats have more rod cells in their eyes compared to humans, which also helps with their night vision.
I think you mean "Fantail" and the answer is goldfish can see no better or worse in the dark than most other fish. They are normal in their light requirements.

It will grow better in the light
Fish do see better in the light than the dark, so it is better to feed them when the light is on the exception to this would be bottom feeders or catfish because they mostly sense their food using scent.
The lens on the eye needs to widen to let more light in your eye so you can see more in the dark. It takes time so when the light is actually on, your lens is contracted but suddenly when the light is turned off, the lens takes time to widen so then your can see better.
