Men are more prone to violence than women because of culture and hormones. As children you see girls forming groups for the purpose of chatting far more often than you see boys chatting. This skill of chatting from an early age will serve girls when they become women.

The groups that boys form seldom learn to chat. Instead, they play games. The exception happens to be those who discuss a book or work on a project. That group is seldom involved in violence. Some of the boys form groups that talk about getting into trouble. They find such groups into adulthood. Some boys never learn how to become a part of any group. Those get into trouble.

When puberty hits boys, they become much more restless. Girls frequently go out with the guy that acts the toughest. Do not ask me why. Football players have no problem getting dates. Straight A students frequently do. A person only needs to go to a prison on visiting day and see all the beautiful women visiting prisoners to wonder what is going on.

So you have a number of men who never learned to get along, who have raging hormones, who have a tendency to get in trouble, and who attract beautiful women because they act that way. You have guys like OJ Simpson.

Violent girls are expelled from girl chat groups and are made to feel unwelcome. If she stands by herself the boys tease her. She doesn't want boys to pick on her. She adjusts her behavior so other girls will accept her. At an early age she learns she either has to look like one of the boys or not be violent and join the girls.
