I do not know how you look so I cannot determine if people are rude to you because of how you look. If that is the case, then they are just rude people. People should not be rude to others at all and should especially not be rude to people because of how they look.

When you ignore them, you're just sinking down to their level. Try to maintain some level of amicable conversation, or at the very least, a 'hi'. It's rude because you're behaving like a small child.
What should you do if people at church dont talk to you?
Initiate the conversation and if they are rude, look for some nice people to get to know.
