Chuck and Betty were together 18 years, traveling and maintaining homes in Texas and Northern California. However our families have been friends since 1955. Betty and Del maintained legal guardianship of Michael Yeager when Chuck and Glennis were out of the country. Eventually, Don Yeager resided with our family as well, until he left for Vietnam. Betty is alive and well, in Fredericksburg Texas.

Betty Moses and Chuck Yeager were together for 18 years. This was an exclusive relationship despite rumors. The Moses and Yeager families maintained close, since 1955. At one point, Betty and Del were legal guardians of Michael, during his early college years when Chuck and Glennis were out of the country. When my father, Del, died, Glennis was my very first phone call. After she died, Chuck came into my Mother's life and became my second dad. The relationship lasted until it didn't.
