He got the idea while on a train in the army, the men could not just sit there with a big razor blade and a mirror in the army while on the train! no! that's when he invented the electric razor! if you don't believe me look up on Google "William J. Kendall Electric Razor" And in two books in the two first results are proof in black and white that my great great grandpa created the first electric razor! :) Hope this helped
