The Halo Effect - Movement of Gratitude - was conceived by Leanne Bucaro, founder of the Halo Effect and Communications and Entertainment firm, Infinity Communications Inc. in Ontario, Canada. The Halo Effect, implemented in 2010, is essentially 28 good deeds in 28 days for the month of February, known as the month of love because of Valentines Day. Unlike Random Acts of Kindness, The Halo Effect is thought out - and the idea is to focus positive energy through kind acts in hopes the recipient(s) of the kindness will return the good deed to others (and so on). In North America, generally February is the month where morale and the feeling of happiness is at its lowest. Minimal light and cold weather wears on the psyche - and an infusion of kindness and taking the focus off of yourself and placing positive energy on others lifts the spirit and provides a greater sense of balance in ones life.

There's no fun in playing it safe. Why not try something a little unhinged?
