Understanding exactly what a fetish is might help. First off, there are a few different types of fetishes. I'll go with the most known type and that is a psychological fetish, usually sexual fetish. Simply put, this is when an object or a certain part of a persons body can create a feeling of excitement, heightened libido and/or sexual arousal. However, women have fetishes as well as men. As far as to why some men have a foot fetish, I don't know anyone, including doctors and sex therapists that could tell you WHY. It's very important to remember that both men and women have fetishes and they come in many many forms! Some are aroused by: (short list of some examples): bare feet, white sox, perfume, hairy men, women who shave completely, leather shoes, leather products in general, silky clothing, silky bedding, long hair, bald heads, smelly sneakers,. the list goes on and on and on.
