First Answer-
Understanding exactly what a fetish is might help. First off, there are a few different types of fetishes. I'll go with the most known type and that is a psychological fetish, usually sexual fetish. Simply put, this is when an object or a certain part of a persons body can create a feeling of excitement, heightened libido and/or sexual arousal. However, women have fetishes as well as men. As far as to why some men have a foot fetish, I don't know anyone, including doctors and sex therapists that could tell you WHY. It's very important to remember that both men and women have fetishes and they come in many many forms! Some are aroused by: (short list of some examples): bare feet, white sox, perfume, hairy men, women who shave completely, leather shoes, leather products in general, silky clothing, silky bedding, long hair, bald heads, smelly sneakers,. the list goes on and on and on.
(New contributor) The sliding-off of the shoe is seen as the first act of intimacy, shedding the first armour, causing pleasurable anticipation.
There's no connection between foot fetishes and homosexuality. But openly gay men might be more willing to admit we have a fetish than straight guys.
Unclear. Not all men do.
A lot....my ex had one.
Not all guys are attracted to foot smells, regardless of the gender. Preferences for smells and fetishes can vary greatly among individuals. It's important to remember that consent and communication are key when exploring such interests in any relationship.
Well, isn't that just a happy little question! Everyone is unique and special, and sometimes people find joy and connection in different ways, like appreciating feet. It's important to embrace diversity and remember that what brings someone joy is a beautiful part of who they are. Just like how every tree in the forest is special in its own way, every person's interests and preferences are what make them truly wonderful.
Some of them do, but statistically, men have more foot fetishes than women do.
Nothing much, but people are frequently creeped out by them.
Sigmund Freud claimed that people sexualize feet because they resemble penises. But no one else had put 2 and 2 together and realized that foot fetishes could possibly result from cross-wiring in the brain between the foot and the genital parts
Sexual preferences and fetishes vary greatly among individuals regardless of gender. Some common fetishes among women may include BDSM, role-playing, foot worship, and exhibitionism, among others. It's important to remember that everyone is different, and what one person enjoys may not be the same for someone else.
Because they are disgusting perverts. Foot fetishes I guess.
Online communities for groups of individuals with unique fetishes are widely available. Indeed, those with Japanese foot fetishes can find communities at the domains "FootFetishCommunity" and "FootFetishPartners."
Sometimes, fetishes can be a result of an object being associated with arousal or sex from a young age. Nowadays, medical practitioners regard fetishes as being a, 'normal variation of human sexuality'.
