umm, well,it all depends on why. if you are doing it to try and commit suicide, i dont in any way recommend it or support it. but if your just wondering,if someone cuts anywhere on the forearm, you can bleed but if you want to get more blood out of it,you can cut higher and closer to the elbow. though this does make you bleed alot,it is also the most fatal way to cut yourself and is very dangerous. in fact,ANY cut deeper than a 1/2 inch deep,is dangerous and it depens on the way you cut it too. horizontally, will give you blood and the amount varies on the depth of the cut but is usually minimal. but vertically, considering the huge vein going down your arm, gives more blood and is a typical way to try and commit suicide. i hope my advice helped, but be careful w/ whatever you needed this for. one mistake, and you could end your life.

Why do paper cuts don't bleed a lot but always hurt a lot?

The reason paper cuts don't usually bleed is because it doesn't cut down into the skin deep enough, but still deep enough to slice the nerves. Paper cuts are so microscopic, they are able to cut into the Epidermis, the outer layer of skin, where nerves are located. The paper cuts the nerve ending, which is the reason for the extreme pain. The paper, however, is not able to cut further into the skin, the Dermis, where the blood is.

What happens if you slit your wrists?

Well it really depends where a bouts on your wrist you cut, also how deep the cut is and how long the cut is. You will defiantly bleed if you break the skin, if you just leave the cut then the blood will probably dry up and stop bleeding as long as it's not a very deep cut. But if it's very deep cut and is bleeding a lot, if you don't clean the cut or hold something on it so it stops bleeding then you might loose a lot of blood. People can die from slitting their wrists if it's bad enough and not treated (so just left to bleed). It Hurts though, when you do it it stings and afterwards when its healing the skin is very sensative, but really its just like having a normal cut anywhere. When it heals you probably will have a mark and possibly depending on the depth ect, you might have a scar. Also if people notice the scars they might start asking you questions and assume you have depression, that you self harm regularly or want to commit suicide. If you are thinking about silting your wrists i would advise not to, it never ends well. Try talking to someone or dealing with your problems another way honestly anything is better.
