When you are in your room in complete darkness you see a lot of bright flashes i try closing my eyes and I see the same thing and to get rid of it I need to turn on a light is this normal?

Go to a doctor as soon as possible. These flashes may have been caused by damage of the eye's nerves or a deformity.
