Body washes have been around for centuries. The Native Americans had them and made them from herbs, plants and whatever else they had on hand. They could soak the plant life in water or oils for Skin Care and sicknesses. Aloe Vera was another natural source for them. Other people groups around the world developed them too. The body washes of today have more chemicals in them but are mostly made from natural items. The bar of soap was more of a novelty than the body washes ever were.
well hand wash is to wash your hands and body wash is to wash your body but you could use both of them for the same thing.

Yes, Dove body wash contains moisturizers—what they call MicroMoisture™ or Renewing MicroMoisture™ technology—that help keep your skin soft and hydrated. These tiny droplets combine with plant-based moisturizers to boost your skin's natural moisture, providing "lotion-soft" skin for up to 24 hours after just one wash. In short, it's a cleansing formula packed with skin-softening ingredients—it's not a true lotion, but it's designed to hydrate like a lotion. If you still need extra moisture, it's a good idea to layer with your favorite lotion afterward!
Wash it just like when you wash the rest of your body.

Soap is soap.
wash your body and wash your hair
Hand wash and body wash are both cleansing products, but they are formulated differently for their intended use. Hand wash is designed to remove dirt and germs from the hands, while body wash is formulated to cleanse larger areas of the body. The difference in formulation can impact their effectiveness in cleansing the skin, as hand wash may be more drying due to its stronger cleansing agents, while body wash is typically gentler and more moisturizing.
