It depends on what you're going for. Personally, I shower in the morning so I look fresh at the start of the day. According to my dermatologist, however, she reccomends showering at night because its less drying to the skin because you are less likely to turn the shower temperature as high (point/counterpoint) I wash at night to get rid of my sweat, bacteria, and excess dead skin before getting in bed. It's a bit disquieting to imagine sleeping in multiple nights of layers of all that building up on my bed.
