. Folic acid is found in leafy green vegetables, beans, peas and lentils, liver, beets, brussel sprouts, poultry, nutritional yeast, tuna, wheat germ, mushrooms, oranges, asparagus, broccoli, spinach, bananas, strawberries, and cantaloupes.

dark green vegetables. broccoli, spinach, kale, collards, endive, romaine lettuce are all good folic acid sources. also some fish but beware of Mercury. don't avoid fish. just ask the seafood guy at your local market for a list of safe fish. by the way shellfish, if you're not allergic is all safe. if you don't like any of these folic acid supplements are a safe and affordable alternative.

Folic acid can be found in pill form in the vitamin section of most grocery or drug stores.
