First of all, arterial and venous blood flows are different. Arteries spurt from the blood pressure used to propel the blood away from the heart, but veins let the blood flow. If you know the pressure points (behind the elbows, carotids at the neck, near the underarms, on the wrist, and on the inside of knees), then press between the wound and the pressure point before that point in the blood's journey through the blood vessels. THANKS DUDE. YOU DID MY HOMEWORK FOR ME!!!!!!
Unlikely, although hitting a vein does increase the chance of an infection.
I'm not sure but in my medical class we do blood draws from the vein and were fine
by cutting a vein in the tree, and then sap comes out, instead of blood
Phlebo- (prefix meaning vein), -tomy (suffix meaning incision or cutting).
Well... if you are piercing your cartilage, you won't hit a vein. On other places it is possible to hit a vein, and if it's major, you could bleed to death... But I'd imagine you'd get help before that happened. ^^^^^ You CAN hit a vein, but not ALL of your blood is in your ears. So I HIGHLY doubt if you perhaps did hit a vein, that you could bleed to death. None the less you may bleed a lot though. It truly depends on if your a bleeder, or not!
it would hurt
can i fly with a retinal vein thrombosis
when you hit the blood vein
You use your thumb to keep the vein from "rolling" while doing a venipuncture.
they were treated with remedies. Holy water, vinegar wash, vein cutting etc.
I think it's still fatal to do that but when you cut that vein it releases a lot of blood so you can die from blood loss (if not taken to a hospital on time). You will not die right away from cutting your wrist vein.
Yes and No, while some metal ores may indeed be vein minerals, not all vein minerals are metal ores and not all metal ores are vein minerals.
