If your hair is damaged, (from straightening, curling, coloring, etc) it can be very hard to get it healthy again. To do this, you must cut your hair. Get several inches off and get layers & angels. This may not entirely help your hair, but you will see a difference. After you get it cut, you need to take a break from straightening. After a few months, your hair will grow a few inches, so you must get it cut again. Do this until your hair is split-end free! This is a hard process, but you will get a good result!
P.S. My hair was damaged from years of straightening! I was real sad when I had to cut my long hair, but it was well worth it! Now, my hair is healthy and I don't have to worry about split-ends or anything!
Damaged hair can result because of overprocessing, frequent hair color changes and excessive heat. Hard water and the sun also are harsh on the hair. Repairing damaged locks requires proper hair care that will allow the hair follicles--root to tip--the ability to look healthy and beautiful once more.
Using the same shampoo and conditioner helps keep the hair in good condition. Changing your regular shampoo or conditioner causes a shock to the hair because of the different ingredients. Sometimes the hair will become brittle as a result of this change. Note which shampoo works best for your hair and continue to use this shampoo. Also, choosing a conditioner with sun block is helpful. It will improve the look of the hair as well as the feel. Sunblock also protects the hair from sun damage.
Individuals with damaged hair should use hair care products that are designed for their type of hair. This is because these products are designed to fix specific hair care problems. Pomade, alcohol-free hairspray and serums are used to moisturize the hair and repair it from root to tip.
A new haircut always gets a nice reaction from friends and family. This is because the hair looks polished and fresh. The longer someone waits to get their haircut, the more damaged the hair becomes. Regular hair trims or cuts makes the hair look healthy all the time and removes split ends.
When the hair is damaged, applying any type of heat to it is a mistake. Whether a blowdryer, curling iron, hair straightener or hot rollers, heat takes any natural oils out of the hair making it look limp. For damaged hair, this results in a even more damaged look. Someone with damaged hair should be hydrating the hair, not any of the remaining moisture away with heat.
The first step to healing damaged hair includes cutting off split ends which is the damaged ends of one's hair. To avoid and heal damaged hair, one should avoid using heat on the hair and hair products that contain sulfates and silicons.
get it done
The damaged only
Your own hair should not be damaged if your hair extensions are put in properly.
Hair should be allowed to cool prior to finishing so that the hair follicles are not damaged.
There's no fixing hair once its damaged. You should cut off the damaged ends or the hair will split higher up the hair strands and just ruin all of your hair over time. You should use a thermal protecter if you going to blowdry/straighted your hair to help and stop that.
old enough where you'll never burn your self or damaged you hair :)

Hair, once out of the hair sacs and above the scalp is dead. Not much you can do about that. Hair, still under production is all controlled by the body anyhow. And if the hair sacs are damaged, not much to do about that either. If the hair sacs are OK, just do what you should to stay overall healthy and your hair should sort itself out.
i have no idea but u should try leave in conditioner
Color treated hair can be damaged easily. Color treated hair can break easily as well. Color treated hair should be conditioned on a regular basis.
you should not apply any types of chemicals (relaxer, hair color, perms) to damaged hair. cut away the damage, apply moisture and/or protein treatments and get your hair healthy before you apply any chemicals. if you don't, the damage will get worse.
