If you have faith in God, then you know that there is a purpose for this world - and a purpose for your life in it. I think that the discovery of God in your life and in the world would be understanding your purpose 'down here'.

To the monk it would mean getting to know God, and that is their primary purpose. This I respect, but I feel they would better serve their fellow men, and God by getting themselves out of their isolation and doing something useful in the world. To this writer they serve no purpose whatsoever.

Yes, actually he does. I used to be goth, and i found him, he helped me when i was broken. my life was a disaster. God sent his only son and he died on the cross and goths wear that cross because they think they won on that moment and apparently, they lost because Jesus left that cross 3 days later and then rose up to heaven. He has a purpose for everyone even you. I had this friend but she's mad at me now, but i still love her in God's name she is an atheist I respect that it's her decision but i tried to turn her to christ. It didn't work... So God does have a purpose for the world and one day he WILL come satanists knoe that and think they will be in control but no they will not, God has a purpose and accept him into your life, He's almost here!!
