The pH level of Alka-Seltzer is 9.2. Pure water has a pH of 7. Alka-Seltzer is sold worldwide and was first introduced in 1931.

∙ 12y agoAlka-Seltzer is made of aspirin, citric acid, and sodium bicarbonate. When sodium bicarbonate dissolves in water, it splits up to make sodium. Then, the bicarbonate reacts with hydrogen ions from the citric acid to form the citric acid to form carbon dioxide and water. The carbon dioxide is a gas that makes the bubbles you see when you drop the tablets in water.

Alka-Seltzer is a combination of aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid), sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3), and citric acid.

∙ 11y agoit depends, they can vary from very strong to mild...... but it will be ranging from 8-14 pH (if less than 7 it will be acidic)

∙ 12y agopH is the Acidic level of the supstance, a pH level of 7 and up is basic, while below that is Acidic.

∙ 11y agothe pH in your stomach goes from about 1-3 to around 5-7 this is called neutralization which means the acid and alkali react to tun the acid into a neutral substance.

Approximate pH of 4, pH will vary based on the amount of CO2 as well as other minerals in the seltzer and the pH of the water.
The pH of alka seltzer is approximately 9.2 on the pH scale. Source: Challney High School For Boys Luton Investigation for Neutralistaion
it's approx. 9.2
Alka-Seltzer has a pH of around 9, so the pH itself won't kill you. Whatever is in it making it have that pH might.
Because vinegar is acidic and water neutral, alka-seltzer will produce a better reaction in vinegar. This is because the alka-seltzer is basic with a ph of approx. 9.2 and vinegar is acidic with around 4 I think. Water has a ph of 7 making it neutral, and the higher the difference in numbers on ph scale, the bigger reaction(provided one is acidic(below 7) and one is basic(above 7)).
because the Ph is 33 when hydrogen peroxide is 12
They are made out of citric acid, aspirin, and sodium bicarbonate. They have a Ph of about 4, so it is acidic.
seltzer water is carbonated water and the word carbonated means that is contains carbon dioxide. but more importantly than that is the "bubbles" you see in all soda is carbon dioxide gas that has been pressurized into the liquid.
