Well, the term "grossest" is very subjective, meaning that it represents an opinion and not a fact. An objective (factual) answer would need to be better qualified, e.g. "most unsanitary" or "most contaminated." Having explained that, what follows is a reasonably objective perception (sort of like a fact-supported opinion) of what you are trying to determine: the rectum (anus) is undoubtedly the most unsanitary and probably the most contaminated part of the body. Although some might argue that the mouth is the most contaminated, I think more people would be willing to touch their mouths to the mouths of others rather than get their mouths even close to a single anus.

A survey some years ago found that when asked to identify a "gross body part," the most common answer was "feet." Maybe the respondents were uncomfortable saying "anus."

The mouth contains vast numbers of different bacteria, many potentially infectious. The large intestine contains millions of bacteria (some helpful) that scavenge the remaining nutrients from human waste.

The penis. Contrary to popular belief, there are from 3 to 1000 fold less bacteria colonizing the penis than other areas of the external body.
