The rate of absorption refers to how quickly a substance is taken into the bloodstream after it is introduced into the body. Factors such as the route of administration, the properties of the substance, and individual differences can affect the rate of absorption. It is an important consideration in pharmacology and drug delivery.

There is little blood flow to the fatty tissue where the solution is injected. The absorption rate will hence be slow and this will lead to a slow rate of onset.

Tangerine and other citrics have been in some testing to see if they facilitate the uptake of medication.. Such as grapefruit said to be used in facilitating faster absorption of opiates etc.. None of this has been proven to do anything except small amounts of absorption rate increase. Although I am not totaly familiar with tangerine and its effects on absorption or blocking there isnothing written that states it willcause any adverse reactions. Tangerine is mildI doubt there is anything it will do to any medication..
