What is the difference between the icd-9-cm hospital edition and the icd-9-cm physician edition?

The ICD-9-CM Hospital edition includes all three ICD-9 volumes: 1 (tabular list of diseases), 2 (alphabetic index of diseases), 3 (alphabetic index and tabular list of procedures).
The ICD-9-CM Physician edition only includes volumes 1 and 2, since they use the CPT to code their procedures and not volume 3 of the ICD-9.
