What is the difference between Actavis Promethazine Codein Syrup and Caraco's version?
The only real difference between Actavis Promethazine Codeine Syrup and Caraco's version is availability and perhaps flavor. Actavis pulled its codeine syrup from the shelves and no longer offers it. Caraco's version is reportedly less fruity and flavorful.

I know that Alpharma and Actavis are supposed to be the strongest of the cough syrups and that Acatavis bought out Alpharma and recently discontinued their Promethazine with Codeine syrup, but why are they the strongest?
