Purmycin is a macrolide antibiotic and inhibits bacterial protein synthesis.

It sould NEVER be used for self medication and ONLY used when prescribed for you by a qualified medical practioner (A Doctor).

Taking medications inappropriately can kill you (all medications are a form of poison!) and what is worse, if they are used incorrectly or when they are not needed, they allow diseases to evolve to be resistant to the medicine (eventually they will no longer work for anybody!!)

It is also common that "over the counter" sold drugs do NOT contain what they say and this can be VERY dangerous because you do not know what you are actually taking!!

So go and see a Doctor if you are sick.
