Methylenedioxymethamphetamine or Ecstasy, also referred to (in its pure form) as MOLLY. MDMA has a tendency to induce a sense of intimacy with others and diminished feelings of fear and anxiety, intense euphoria and a radically open mind in most cases. In TABS or the colored pill form it is used in smaller amounts in combination of other drugs (referred to as basses) such as coke, acid, heroin, and more commonly with speed. This is to reduce the cost of production for higher profit margins.

Its effects are different on everyone but hold some consistencies depending on dosage, a tab is usually only felt physically while two is a more complete experience and so forth.

At around 30 to 45 minutes a user will experience the "brick wall of happiness" this is when the user is in a friendly and appropriate environment and begins to feel the overwhelmingly euphoric effects of the drug which are very sexual. It usually begins with a warm feeling in the pit of your stomach, followed by an uncontrollable urge to smile, laugh or giggle. This is normally followed by increase in levels of energy and a new view of his or her surroundings. We call the recreational use of MDMA "rolling". One may "peak" several times during his roll and distorted or wavy vision may occur depending on dosage, this is called "fry vision". Be careful because while rolling is fun it can come at a price if moderation is not exercised, people who roll every weekend tend to be more angry and depressed after a month of doing so. A change in attitude and thought process is noticeable in most cases and it can usually lead to conflicts amongst friends.

Ecstasy is a drug that is usually found but not limited to the RAVE scene, the users find it perfect for this environment since it goes well with loud music, dancing, colorful fluorescent lights, and of course sex.
