What the question actually refers to is what is it called when a patient becomes obsessed with his/her caregiver. The caregiver can be a doctor, a nurse, or even a teacher. This can also be a result of boss vs. employee where the employee sees himself/herself as having a life with the boss such as a highly dedicated secretary.
The answer is Erotomania. It is a delusion that the caregiver cares much more deeply than they actually do. People suffering erotomania believe there is a mutual interest that is normally very deep. They even fantasize that they are actually a "pair". An example would be a caregiver for example who helps someone to walk again. The patient feels so much devotion towards the doctor that he/she becomes delusional that there was more than just patient care involved.
A movie that addresses this is issue is called "He Loves Me...He loves me not" with Audrey Tautou made in 2002.
